I'm afraid I have fallen in love as of late. Assigned to read a story in english, I was not amused by the demand of the language or the length of the prose. What a fabulous love story that pretense already creates! But not half as good as the brilliant ... Pride & Prejudice.
Oh dear, I was a goner by the third chapter, and now I am afraid that I will always hold the standards of Lizzy and Mr. Darcy in my own life. Ah, but what a good way to hold yourself if that is the way it will be: absolute honesty, chivalry, politeness, sensibility and accomplishment.
Anyways, this new infatuation has caused me to dig up my old prose and think back to the old days...
